How can we help?
Write to support@noworrieslifestyle.com. We read everything.
Adding the rooms
Touch and hold an empty spot on your Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Hitchling. Small widgets are single rooms; the medium widget is the attic; the full-page widget (iOS 27) or the large widget shows the whole house. Touch and hold a room widget and choose Edit Widget to pick which room it shows.
My guest is not in the room
Your guest moves between rooms on its own schedule and walks behind your app icons on the way. Check the other rooms, or open the app to see where it is right now. At night it sleeps in the bedroom.
Keepsakes
In the app, tap Show something, take or pick a photo, and tap the object. It works best with one object on a plain surface, close up. Free hosts can give three keepsakes per visit; Lantern Club members can give as many as they like.
Passing your guest on
Tap Pass it on and send the link, or let a friend scan the code. The first person to open it becomes the next host. Friends without the app can open the link and meet your guest at their door in the App Clip, then install Hitchling to let them in. Moving in uses iCloud, so both phones need to be signed in to iCloud. Links expire after seven days, and you can cancel one before it is opened.
Taking a stop off the world map
The world map is not live yet: no stop is published, and Settings has no World map switch, until we turn both on. Once it is on, this is how to take a stop off it.
A stop appears on the Hitchling world map only if its host chose to show it. To change your choice, open Hitchling on the iPhone that made the stop, tap Settings, and switch the stop on or off under World map. It lists only the stops that iPhone made, for the guest staying with you and the ones who stayed before, and only the Apple ID that made a stop can change it. The map catches up within about half an hour. Deleting Hitchling does not take stops already shown off the map, and once the app and its data are gone (deleted, or a new iPhone set up without a backup) they can no longer be switched off from a phone, so switch them off first. If you no longer have the iPhone that made a stop, write to support@noworrieslifestyle.com with the traveler's world map page and your host number, and we will take the stop off the map. Hiding a stop keeps it off the map; the passport itself stays in Apple's iCloud public database, where anyone who knows the traveler's ID can read it.
Lantern Club
Lantern Club opens three more rooms, removes the keepsake limit, keeps the passport of every guest you have hosted, and lets a new guest arrive right away. Manage or cancel it in Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions. To restore a purchase, open Settings in Hitchling and tap Restore Purchases.
